Application of Otrivin Neusspray bij Neusverkoudheid Menthol Xylometazoline HCl 1 mg/ml:
Otrivin provides fast and long-lasting relief from nasal congestion.It reduces swelling of the mucous membrane in the nose and thus helps keep the nasal passages clear, making it easier for you to breathe.
Otrivin begins working within 2 minutes and lasts up to 12 hours. Otrivin is well tolerated, even by patients with sensitive nasal mucosa.
Otrivin contains moisturising substances to soothe a dry and irritated nasal cavity.
Composition of Otrivin Neusspray bij Neusverkoudheid Menthol Xylometazoline HCl 1 mg/ml:
Xylometazoline hydrochloride (1 mg/ml). Each actuation delivers 0.14 mg of xylometazoline HCl.The other ingredients in this medicine are:
Benzalkonium chloride and disodium edetate have been added as preservatives.
It also contains menthol, eucalyptol, disodium hydrogen phosphate, disodium phosphate, sodium chloride, sorbitol, Cremophor RH40, purified water.
Usage of Otrivin Neusspray bij Neusverkoudheid Menthol Xylometazoline HCl 1 mg/ml:
Adults and children aged 12 years and over:1 spray in each nostril, 3 times a day. There should be an interval of 8 to 10 hours between applications. Do not exceed 3 applications per nostril per day.
Use
1. Blow your nose.
2. Remove the protective cap.
3. For the first application, pump several times until an even spray is created. With repeated applications, the spray will be ready for immediate use. Avoid spraying into the eyes or mouth.
4. Hold the bottle upright and place your thumb at the bottom of the bottle and hold the nosepiece between two fingers.
5. Tilt your head slightly forward and place the nosepiece in one nostril.
6. Spray and inhale gently through your nose at the same time.
7. Repeat this procedure on the other nostril.
8. Clean the nosepiece and let it dry before replacing the protective cap.
To prevent possible spread of infection, the bottle should only be used by 1 person. Please read information leaflet before use
